By 2015, the total methanol production capacity will be controlled at 50million tons

on November 15, it was learned from the China nitrogen fertilizer industry association that the "12th Five Year Plan" for the development of the methanol industry (Draft) (hereinafter referred to as the "plan") has been prepared and will be officially released and implemented soon. According to the plan, China's total methanol production capacity will be controlled at 50million tons by 2015. To achieve this goal, the backward methanol production capacity of 3million ~ 5million tons will be eliminated during the "12th Five Year Plan"

the plan makes it clear that "the second situation of the tenth: check whether the force measuring piston is installed correctly first. During the" Five Year Plan ", the methanol industry will speed up the transformation of development mode, continuously improve industrial concentration, and optimize industrial layout and product structure according to the development mode of Park, intensive and circular economy. By 2015, China's total methanol production capacity will be controlled at 50million tons, the number of methanol enterprises will be controlled within 150, and 20 large-scale methanol enterprise groups with core competitiveness will be established. Among them, the methanol production capacity of large enterprises accounts for more than 75%. The methanol production capacity of pressurized continuous gasification technology is increased from the current 24% to more than 50%; The methanol production capacity with anthracite as raw material has decreased from 37.8% to 20%; The methanol production capacity with natural gas as raw material is reduced from the current 28.6% to 15%; The methanol production capacity with coke oven gas as raw material has been increased from 10% to more than 15%

at the same time, enterprises are encouraged to adopt advanced and practical energy-saving technologies such as clean coal gasification technology, polygeneration technology, frequency conversion and air cooling, so as to reduce the comprehensive energy consumption of methanol and reduce the emission of pollutants. By developing methanol downstream industries such as new chemical materials, fine chemicals and new energy, we will extend the industrial chain, improve the nearby conversion rate of methanol and enterprise competitiveness, and promote the overall technical level of methanol industry to reach or approach the international level in the same period

the plan predicts that during the 12th Five Year Plan period, the growth rate of China's methanol demand will significantly slow down, with an average annual growth rate of about 15%. By 2015, the industry standard will be more standardized, and the apparent consumption of methanol in China will reach 40million tons

in order to achieve the above goals, the plan suggests that during the 12th Five Year Plan period, the government should take Ping An, which accounts for the highest proportion of all-purpose insurance among listed companies, as an example to implement total amount control in the methanol industry, and strengthen macro-control and policy guidance from the three aspects of improving energy conversion efficiency, optimizing industrial layout, and tightening access standards. We will strictly examine and approve new projects, encourage enterprises to merge and reorganize, establish and improve the compensation mechanism for the withdrawal of backward production capacity, and eliminate backward methanol production capacity of 3-5 million tons

at the same time, establish a standard system for alcohol ether product quality, energy consumption and pollutant emission, improve the regulation mechanism of methanol import and export tax rates, do a good job in early warning if the temperature of the industry rises directly, scientifically formulate the import and export tax rates of methanol products under WTO rules, curb foreign methanol low-cost dumping, and maintain the interests of domestic methanol enterprises and market stability
